Until now the MCP server ran on your machine: an npm package, a config block, an API key to paste. That works in Cursor or Claude Desktop, and it shuts out every assistant that cannot start a local process, starting with ChatGPT and Claude on the web and on mobile.
The same twenty-five tools now also run on Applyra's side, at https://www.applyra.io/api/mcp. Give that URL to your assistant, sign in to Applyra, check what it will be able to do, and allow it.
- Claude: add a custom connector with the URL, on the web, on desktop or on mobile.
- ChatGPT: on chatgpt.com, in Plugins, add a custom MCP server with the URL and OAuth as the authentication, then create it as a plugin.
Your API key never leaves the dashboard, and every assistant you connect is listed on the MCP page, where one click disconnects it.
Nothing changes for the npm package: Cursor, Codex, VS Code and Windsurf keep using it with your API key, and both servers expose the same tools. Like the rest of the API, it is part of the Unlimited plan.
