Two changes to billing, both asked for repeatedly.
There is now an annual option on the Unlimited plan: $99.99 a year instead of $9.99 a month, which is two months free. The monthly plan is unchanged and stays the default. Annual is optional and always will be.
Pricing is also local. Customers in the eurozone are charged €9.99 rather than a dollar amount their bank converts at whatever rate it picked that day, with the same figure on the annual plan. It is the same price, in the currency of the card.
Existing subscribers keep the currency and the price they signed up with. Switching between monthly and annual is done from the billing portal, not from checkout, so nobody ends up with two subscriptions.
