AppTweak vs App Radar is the comparison people run when they have outgrown a spreadsheet and are ready to pay for ASO. On the pricing page the two look like the same product. Both open around $80 a month for 500 keywords, both cover the App Store and Google Play, and both sell to people with "growth" in their job title.
Go one tier up and they split in two directions. AppTweak is a research tool: it wants to tell you which keywords matter and why. App Radar, now part of SplitMetrics, is a workflow tool: it wants you to write, publish and maintain your listings without leaving it. Which one fits depends less on the price than on which of those two jobs eats your week.
The short answer
AppTweak if keyword research is the job and one person does it. App Radar if a small team edits and publishes listings on both stores and answers reviews: it costs about the same at 500 keywords, about a third less above that, and gives you more seats.
Applyra is the third answer, for the small team that mostly needs to know where it ranks: unlimited keywords on both stores for $9.99 a month, or $8.33 billed yearly, on top of a permanent free plan with no card.

Same entry price, different ladders
| Keywords | AppTweak | App Radar | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | $79, 1 seat | ~$80, 1 seat | Even monthly, App Radar ~16% cheaper billed yearly |
| 1,500 | $299, 1 seat | ~$195, 2 seats | App Radar ~35% cheaper |

~$80
App Radar, 500 keywords
$9.99
Applyra, unlimited keywords
At 500 keywords the monthly price is about the same. From 1,500 keywords up, App Radar is roughly a third cheaper, and it adds seats where AppTweak keeps one per plan until Enterprise. For a team of two or three people that seat count is usually the real price difference, more than the sticker.
AppTweak's case is not the price. It is what the extra money buys you, which is the next section.
What AppTweak does better
Research depth. The entry plan already comes with more than 12 keyword research tools on a database of over 30 million keywords in more than 100 countries. Grow adds organic installs per keyword, keyword impact analysis, long-tail keywords, a metadata simulator and featuring analysis. If your job is deciding which keywords are worth a slot in the title, this is the stronger toolbox.
Reporting. Reporting Studio, on every plan, builds dashboards that combine AppTweak data with your consoles and your MMP. For someone who reports to a team or to clients every week, that saves real hours.
Apple Ads. AppTweak's Campaign Manager is free up to $25,000 of monthly ad spend, then 4% of the spend above it. If you run Apple Ads alongside ASO, that is cheap tooling.
Where it costs you: one seat on every plan below Enterprise, and ranking history tied to the tier. Essential keeps 6 months, so comparing this September against last September takes the $299 plan.
What App Radar does better
The listing workflow. App Radar's editor lets you write, preview and publish your App Store and Google Play listings, connected to App Store Connect and Google Play Console on every plan. Its own pricing page calls it the only ASO tool that does this for both stores. It also flags listings that break store rules, such as duplicated or low-volume keywords on the App Store.
Reviews in the same place. Replies are part of every plan, from 50 a month on Essentials, with AI reply suggestions and review summaries from Growth.
More people, more competitors. 2 seats on Growth and 5 on Scale, and 25, 100 or 250 tracked competitors depending on the plan.
Keyword data by store. Downloads-per-keyword estimates on Google Play and share of voice on the App Store, both inside the keyword views.
Where it costs you: the app count (one app on both stores fills Essentials), history tied to the tier as with AppTweak (6 months on Essentials), euro-only billing, and an API add-on that costs more than the entry plan. Paid acquisition work, Apple Search Ads included, sits with SplitMetrics' Enterprise and agency offer rather than the self-serve plans.

Which one should you pick?
AppTweak is the right call when ASO is one person's actual job and the job is research: large keyword sets, many markets, weekly reports, maybe an Apple Ads budget. You pay more per keyword above the entry tier, and you get more analysis for it.
App Radar is the right call when a small team ships listing changes often, on both stores, and wants reviews in the same tool. From 1,500 keywords up it is the cheaper of the two and the only one that gives you extra seats without Enterprise pricing.
Neither is the right call when you are one person or a small studio with a few apps and the questions are where you rank, which keywords are worth chasing, and what your competitors changed. Both platforms answer them inside tooling built for a larger team, at eight times Applyra's price or more.
Why small teams pick Applyra instead
Both platforms are priced for a team whose ASO budget runs in the hundreds each month. Applyra is priced for everyone else, and it keeps the parts of the job a small team does every day.
- A year costs less than one of their months. Applyra is $99.99 a year. One month of AppTweak Grow is $299, one month of App Radar Growth about $195.
- No keyword ladder. Unlimited keywords, apps and competitors on the $9.99 plan, where both platforms step from 500 to 1,500 to 3,000 keywords and App Radar counts each store as a separate app.
- All of your history. Both platforms keep 6 months on their entry plan and 24 months at the top. Applyra keeps your full ranking history on the $9.99 plan, so this September sits next to last September without an upgrade.
- The simulator on the first paid plan. AppTweak adds its metadata simulator on Grow, at $299 a month. Applyra's Metadata Simulator scores a draft listing before you ship it, on the $9.99 plan.
- API and AI assistants included. A REST API with 10,000 requests a month and an MCP server for Claude, Cursor or Codex come with the plan. App Radar's API alone is an add-on from €199 a month.
- Free until you need more. A permanent free plan with 1 app, 5 keywords and 1 competitor, and no card, where both platforms offer a 7-day trial.

Every day Applyra tracks your rankings on the App Store and Google Play, scores keyword difficulty and traffic, alerts you when a competitor changes its listing and suggests keywords with AI. The full price list, next to 13 other ASO tools, is on the pricing page.
We also compared each of them to Applyra on its own page: AppTweak pricing and alternatives and App Radar pricing and alternatives. Appfigures vs AppTweak covers the other comparison people ask about, and the cheapest ASO tools ranks the whole field on price.
How to actually decide
Three questions settle it faster than any feature table, including the ones above.
How many people touch the listings? One person: seats do not matter and AppTweak's single seat is fine. Two or more: App Radar's Growth plan is the cheapest way to get them all in.
Do you publish metadata often, on both stores? If yes, App Radar's editor removes a real chore. If you change your listing a few times a year, you are paying for a workflow you will barely use.
How many keywords do you check every day? Not the list you would like to have. The one you actually open. If it fits in a few dozen terms on one or two apps, both platforms are priced for a bigger problem than yours, and a free Applyra account will tell you where you rank by tomorrow.
