Applyra tracks App Store and Google Play keyword rankings, scores your listing and watches your competitors, for indie developers and small studios.

Video transcript

You shipped your app. So where does it actually rank? Meet Applyra. Improve your app rankings, simply. Add your app from the App Store or Google Play. Pick the keywords that matter. Applyra reads your position on each one, every day. Two scores answer two questions. Am I being found? And is my listing built to win? It even names your biggest lever, so you know what to fix first. Follow your competitors. See where they outrank you, and know the day they change their listing. Inspect any keyword. Score a listing before you ship it. Or just ask your AI assistant. Built for indie developers and small studios. Free forever for one app, or Unlimited for $9.99 a month. Start free at applyra.io.

Applyra is an App Store Optimization platform for people who ship their own apps. It answers four questions every week: where do I rank, is my listing built properly, who am I really competing with, and what should I target next. It covers the App Store and Google Play on every plan, including the free one.

What it tracks

You give Applyra an app and the keywords you care about. From there it collects, every day:

  • Your position on each keyword, in each market you track, with the apps ranked immediately above and below you.
  • A visibility score per app, which turns a hundred positions into one number you can follow over time. It is explained in how the visibility score works.
  • An ASO Health score, which rates the listing itself rather than the result: see ASO Health and its three axes.
  • Your competitors' listings, so a change on their side reaches you the day it ships.

What it is not

Applyra does not buy ads, does not manage your releases, and does not promise a position. It measures what the stores return and gives you the numbers to decide with. The work of writing a better listing stays yours, and the Metadata Simulator exists to make that work cheaper: you can score a draft before you send it to review.

Who it is for

The product is built for indie developers, solo founders and small studios. That shows in three places. Both stores are included everywhere rather than sold separately. There is one paid plan instead of a grid of tiers priced per keyword. And the free plan is permanent, not a trial, because the first thing anyone needs is to see their own real data before paying for anything.

Where to start

If you have never opened Applyra, add your first app, then choose the keywords to track. If you have just signed in and want to know what each screen is for, the tour of the dashboard takes five minutes. If you want to understand the numbers before you act on them, read concepts and metrics instead. If you are evaluating the product, the plans and limits page states exactly what each plan includes.

Frequently asked questions

What does Applyra do?

Applyra is an App Store Optimization platform. It tracks where your app ranks for the keywords you choose on the App Store and Google Play, scores how well your listing is built, finds the apps you really compete with, and tells you which keywords are worth targeting next.

Who is Applyra for?

Indie developers, solo founders and small mobile studios who need real ranking data without an enterprise contract. It works on both stores from the first day, on a permanent free plan and a single paid plan at $9.99 a month.

Is Applyra free to use?

Applyra has a permanent free plan, with no credit card and no trial clock: one app, five keywords, one competitor and seven days of ranking history, on either store. The single paid plan is $9.99 a month and lifts those counts.

Do I need an App Store Connect or Google Play account to use Applyra?

No. Applyra reads public store data, so you can track any app, yours or a competitor's, without connecting anything. Connecting App Store Connect is optional and only adds your iOS keyword field, which Apple shows to nobody.
